Mission

The Joe Crowley Student Union is the community center of the University of Nevada, Reno. It enriches campus life and the educational process by providing cultural, social, recreational and intellectual experiences which students can share with faculty, staff, alumni and guests. Students are the number one priority.

Through its various student organizations, the student union advisory board and staff, the student union serves to enhance the intellectual program of the university and make activities a cooperative factor with education.

The student union is an integral part of the university's educational environment, providing stimulating programs, services and facilities for the community. It affords the opportunity for informal association outside the classroom.

The Joe Crowley Student Union encourages self-directed activity, geared toward the diverse needs of the university and Northern Nevada community. The student union provides maximum opportunity for self-realization and individual growth.
