Staff Demographics

As of August 2012, our total staff number is 178. Of the 178, 53 self-identified as staff of color. Of the 178, 93 are full-time administrative faculty. Of the 93, 35 self-identified as staff of color. Of those 3 are Asian, 15 are Hispanic/Latino, 1 is American Indian, 14 are Black non-Hispanic, and 2 are more than one race.
The average age of our administrative staff is 42 (range is 24-69). For our classified staff, the average age is 45 (range is 21-71).
Current classified staff members number 76. Of the 76, 19 identified as staff of color. Of those, 6 are Asian, 7 are Hispanic/Latino, 1 is American Indian, none are Black non-Hispanic, and 5 are more than one race.
Our staff are well qualified and hold appropriate degrees. Of the 93 administrative staff, 10 have Ph.D.s, 3 have Ed.D.s and 49 hold masters degrees. The highest degree earned by the remaining 31 administrative staff is a bachelor's degree.
