There’s a saying on campus that goes “if you can’t find a student club or organization to join, get nine of your best friends and start a new one.”
Maybe that’s how Nevada finds itself with an ever-increasing plethora of student groups. From scrapbooking to rugby, multicultural to political, there really is a group for everyone.
After taking the steps to be officially recognized by the respective student government, these groups have access to meeting spaces, workrooms and funding opportunities. In addition, all clubs and organizations compete for awards at the annual Clubs and Organizations banquet.
