Welcome to Veteran Services

The Veteran Services Office is your liaison to the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs for certification of your veteran and veteran related education benefits. Our goal is to provide students who are veterans or are receiving veteran education benefits assistance with both applying for and receiving those benefits to further their education. We accomplish this goal by submitting forms and information directly to the Veteran Affairs Education Benefits Office on behalf of the student, certifying classes being taken by the student, education benefit advising, provide contact information to Department of Veterans Affairs offices, academic advisors contact information, and direction to other on-campus student support services.

Additional Services Provided

The Veteran Services Office also provides a wide range of support and referral services for all undergraduate and graduate students who are: veterans currently serving either active duty, Reserve or National Guard; vocational rehabilitation, and qualified dependents. Appropriate services are determined and provided based upon the student's specific need and the academic requirements of the appropriate department, college, school or program.

For more information call us at (775) 784-4700 option 5 or stop by and visit us. You may drop in any day the University is open during our drop in office hours. Ask anyone at the front counter to see Veteran Services personnel. We recommend that you call to make an appointment to ensure that you will be promptly served. Be assured that we will make every effort to provide timely educational benefit certification with a minimal amount of inconvenience as possible.
