Degree Audit Reporting System at the University of Nevada, Reno

The Graduation Application Process

The DARS is a vital part of the graduation application process. The application process is described in the “Graduation Instructions ” which are available from the Graduation Information web page. Soon after a graduation application is received and processed, DARS writes an exception to include graduation instructions on each graduation applicant's DARS report.

The graduation instructions have been customized for colleges and programs. You should print your DARS including the graduation instructions as soon as you complete registration for your final term, and read and follow the instructions on the DARS carefully.

Be advised that you cannot graduate with in-progress undergraduate coursework in your records (this includes classes without grades and classes with "Incomplete" grades, whether taken here or elsewhere), even if the in-progress classes are not required for the degree. [Registration for classes in a FUTURE term - after graduation - will not affect your ability to graduate.]

After grades are posted, DARS must read “All Requirements Complete” before a degree can be posted on your transcript.
