What is DARS?
DARS compares a student's course work, both Nevada and transfer, with the requirements of an academic degree program, and prepares a comprehensive report, or audit, which details the student's progress toward meeting those requirements.
New and Continuing Students may access a DARS report through ePAWS. DARS reports are available on the web (via ePaws) to new students shortly after the students are admitted. DARS reports on the web are updated weekly for all active, undergraduate students. Changes to a student's academic record that have been made after the update of DARS will appear the following update. (DARS reports are not prepared or updated for students who are enrolled as non-degree or graduate students, or for students who have stopped-out for a semester or more, until they are re-admitted to an undergraduate program.)
Students and/or advisors should print the latest DARS report prior to each advising session. Many advisors can run an up-to-date DARS report for a student at any time by using DARSweb.
Lists of Undergraduate Majors and Minors include their program codes and available catalog years.
Check the Course Number Changes page to see whether any of your courses have changed prefix, number, and/or title.

What's New
The on-line DARS reports for Health & Human Sciences, and for Agriculture, Biotechnology & Natural Resources, will not update on Monday, May 26 due to the Memorial Day Holiday. The reports for Liberal Arts and for Science will not update on Tuesday, May 27, due to their being pre-empted by processes needed for posting of degrees. The regular audit update schedule will resume the following week. See the "Get a DARS" page for more information.
The method for producing the weekly updates of DARS reports and delivering them via Xnet/ePaws changed slightly as of 10/9/07. Each 'piece' of a dual degree or dual major now runs on the night designated for that major's college. This prevents the errors that used to occur with certain combinations of degrees, thereby ensuring that all undergraduates have access to their DARS reports on-line; however, it also means that some students may have to check ePaws twice, on different days of the week,to get reports that they used to receive all at once. See the "Get a DARS" page for the update schedule.
Please be aware that, due to the timing of overnight data transfers, some DARS reports - if generated close to the date of new registration transactions or posting of grades, when such activity is heavy - may contain incomplete information. Those reports should be correct after the following week's update. See the "Get a DARS" page for more information.
