Mosaic

The MOSAIC initiative is designed to create an empowering support system for the campus community that transcends ethnicity. It provides a growth inspired atmosphere designed to help students achieve academic excellence and the development of sensitivity, understanding, and appreciation of cultural diversity through increased communication and interaction among students, the University, and the community at large.

"We become not a melting pot but a beautiful mosaic. Different people, different beliefs, different yearnings, different hopes, different dreams."

-Jimmy Carter, 39th US President (1977-81). Nobel Prize for Peace in 2002
