We are dedicated to providing a caring, supportive, and nurturing environment for all students that will protect their rights and dignity and promote personal and academic success. We are a team of professionals committed to promoting student safety and empowerment through training, education, and support in personal safety and sexual assault prevention.

We are made up of:

    • Nevada Coalition Against Sexual Assault
    • Crisis Call Center
    • Reno PD Victim Services Unit
    • Campus Escort Services
    • Student Health Center
    • Office of Student Conduct

Together we make up the Safety Action Team and we work together to promote safety awareness, effective crisis response and prevent sexual violence.

What we provide:

  • Confidential counseling with mental health professionals.
  • Advocacy and coordination of needed services for sexual assault and trauma survivors
  • Workshops and classroom presentations on sexual violence prevention, personal safety awareness, healthy dating relationships, and the impact of alcohol and drugs on issues of sexual consent.
  • Consultation, referrals, and coordination of services.
