The Peer Educators team is currently looking to recruit more Peer Educators. Peer education is an excellent way to make a positive difference in the life of others.
The Mission of the Peers Educating Peers Team
To facilitate discussions with students as they make informed choices for healthy and responsible socializing and recreating while attending the University of Nevada, Reno.
Peer Educators…
• Are undergraduate and graduate students of all ages involved with residence life, fraternities & sororities, athletics, academics, etc. that want to promote healthier lifestyles for their fellow students.
• Present during New Student Orientation & First Year Experience Classes.
• Host events like Safe Spring Break & National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week.
• Attend National & Regional Conferences
• Co-Sponsor the Thursday Night Movie Series.
• Help promote the Choice Driven Campaign.
• Receive National Certification as a peer educator.
• Paint faces at sporting events.
• Put on programs.
• Have a lot of fun!
