Choice Driven Campaign

Background

The Choice Driven Campaign originated when the University of Nevada, Reno became one of 10 schools awarded a 2004 NCAA Choices Grant to address alcohol misuse & abuse. A group of students helping to plan the projects listed in the grant proposal developed the wristband concept and the program took off from there. To date over 1900 students, faculty, & staff have take the pledge to be choice driven.

What is Choice Driven?

A unique choice by University of Nevada, Reno students, faculty, and staff to recognize the freedom to make their own choices and be driven by their values, knowledge, and beliefs to make safe, healthy, and appropriate decisions.

Why be Choice Driven?

It can help you to be a better individual, friend, and citizen. It also gives you an opportunity to discuss your positive choices with others and encourage them to make positive choices of their own.

How can I be Choice Driven?

It’s easy! You can download and complete the choice driven pledge, and return the pledge to the JTSU Information Center or the Clark Administration Building Lake Level Suites to get your brochure and wristband.
