Frequently Asked Questions

I am not doing well in a class…can I drop it?

If it is before the posted University drop date, students can withdraw from course(s) through the online ePAWS system by dropping the class.

I thought I dropped a class on ePAWS, but it’s still on my transcript.

Students are responsible for monitoring their ePAWS account, which includes adding/dropping courses by the appropriate University drop date. Student error in completing this task does not fall under the guidelines of an extenuating circumstance; therefore the appeal process is not an option.

If it is past the 8th week of school, students must go through the exit interview process. Under normal circumstances accepting a full-time job does not fall under the guidelines of an extenuating circumstance; therefore the appeal process is not an option. If a student has a change in job responsibilities that are beyond the control of the student and can be documented by the employer, then a student may appeal for a student withdrawal. (Back to top)
