Summary
Tom brings over 25 years of experience in the private practice of law specializing in contracts and commercial law to the University of Nevada, Reno Office of Sponsored Projects. This diverse background allows him to approach the University's research grants and contracts from many different perspectives. Tom manages the preparation and implementation of sub-award agreements with the sub-recipients of the University's grants and also works with other sponsor-initiated agreements. Tom is also the point person for the negotiation of clinical trial agreements for the University's School of Medicine and leads in the monitoring of compliance of clinical trials and their sponsors with contract terms and regulatory requirements.
