Moon Work:  University Design Contest

For the next generation manned moon rover tools or instrumentation packages.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration encourages college students to get involved with NASA's return to the Moon by helping to design the tools and instrument pages needed for the next generation manned moon rover.

An email notice of intent is due by December 15, 2008.

Final entries are due on or before May 15, 2009.

Nevada NASA Space Grant Curricula Development fund announcement

The Nevada Space Grant Consortium anticipates
funding will be available in the spring of 2009 for curricula development and new course implementation activities that are related to NASA's missions. If you are looking to develop curricula or course(s) that are potentially eligible for funding, please contact the Nevada Space Grant office.

2009 Internship Opportunities at NASA Centers

NASA Exploration Systems Mission Directorate (ESMD)

2009 Summer Internships

These internships provide students ESMD-relevant work experience in industry or at a NASA center. Students will be engaged in hands-on engineering projects with a strong and involved mentor.

ESMD internships are open to juniors, seniors and graduate students.

The application site will be open November 17, 2008 – February 1, 2009
