Information and written copies of all University policies, regulations and guidelines for student conduct and campus expectations of student behavior are available at the Office of Student Conduct.
For a student, staff, or faculty member who has a concern about an incident of possible student misconduct, the faculty in the Office of Student Conduct (OSC) encourage you to contact us -- even through an informal phone call or email -- to discuss your concern and decide whether a student misconduct incident report is appropriate, whether you would like assistance in an informal, mediated, resolution to the misconduct; or whether you would like to refer the incident for further review and investigation by our faculty.
The Office of Student Conduct (OSC) is open for these purposes and for regularly scheduled appointments during University business hours. As a student, if you were to receive a notice of referral for student misconduct from this office, you must contact the office to make an appointment to meet with the faculty member who notified you, in order to discuss and resolve the concern. If you are a student resident of the on-campus residence halls and receive a notice of referral for student miscondut from your resident director or the Assistant Director of Residential Life, you must contact that faculty member to make an appointment to resolve the concern. You may wish to consult with the ASUN Student Advocate to seek advice and support from the Advocate throughout this resolution process. This is encouraged and supported by the faculty in Residential Life and in the Office of Student Conduct.
