On the Cover
Sportsman's Beach at Walker Lake is a popular spot for recreationalists. For decades, the area has served as a productive fishery and wildlife viewing area. It is one of the areas users are hoping to preserve in the ongoing challenge of saving the desert lake lovcated near Hawthorne.
