Service-Learning Impact

Acting as the central hub for tracking service-learning campus wide, and reporting the impact our efforts are having on community issues is one of our main objectives at the Office of Service-Learning and Civic Engagement. The key component for reinforcing a culture of service-learning at the University of Nevada is faculty buy-in and support. We are not able to track and report on the impact without your assistance.

By assessing  the impact of service-learning our campus community is presented with a prodigious opportunity. Together, we have the ability to provide the foundation for a culture of civic engagement that values social justice and democratic citizenship. You play a vital role in fostering this culture. We encourage you to report your course data at the end of each semester so that we, as a University community, can gain a better understanding of the perceptions, motivations, and practices of service-learning.

If you are currently working with our office, have a service-learning designated course, or are engaging in service-learning by outside means, than we want to know about it and support your efforts.

Please submit your end of the semester final course data, and assist our office in enhancing a culture that values civic engagement.
