Pockets
This would be the type of pocket worn underneath the dress and on top of the petticoats worn with the prairie dress (Nevada State Museum HM-12169-Q-169). These pockets are also a part of the collection of the Nevada State Museum.
The pockets tie about the waist and can be adjusted to match the pocket openings in the skirt. The front of the pockets are in a calico and the backside in muslin. The pockets are ______" deep and the opening slit takes up about one-third of the overall distance.
