The
skirt has a flat front, meaning there are no pleats or gathers across
the front. The skirt is also gored to given maximum fullness at the
hem line. The fullness is pulled toward the back and cartridge pleated.
There is a slit pocket on the left side front of the skirt. The footing
is graded, being narrow in the front and becoming much deeper in back.
The hem is proctected with a silk hem braid which falls 1/2" below the
lower edge.The skirt wraps across the front and closes with a hook and
eye at the side.
