Page 1 Presenting
Problem
You are beginning a Friday afternoon seminar in
your auto mechanics program. One of your classmates,
Junker Carr, is missing. After the class begins, he walks
in, apologizing for his lateness. He explains that his
car had broken down on his way in. He made a few calls
for service and was told that all mechanics had left
townto attend the Buckeye Cup Race at the Mid Stake Motor
Speedway. He needs his car for a trip this weekend to
attend a friends wedding in Elko.
"I don't know what I am going to do,"
said Junker. "I don't have any idea what could
be wrong with my car. Can any of you help me?"
Instructor Notes: (Graphic
here, use handwriting to illustrate notes?)
Assign the roles of Junker Carr, Classmate 1, Classmate
2, Classmate 3. Place them in the front of the room. Give
them only Page 1 of the case. Have each take turn as a
reader. Assign a fifth student to serve as the recorder,
or the instructor can record information on the board.
