How to Use Rhymes, Finger Plays, and Action Songs in the Reading Buddies Program

As mentioned above, as students participate in singing the words and imitating the Finger plays they will be building their vocabulary. These action songs and finger plays can then be reproduced and placed in their Personal Readers. The materials in their Personal Readers are then used to harvest known words which are later used in word study activities.
