How do you know children progress in the Reading Buddies program?

Children are evaluated in the beginning and the end of the program. Informal screening, surveys, interviews, and measures administered at the particular school are included in evaluations of students’ progress. Children who have been in these programs have shown significant progress in their attitudes about reading, writing and self-concept.
