Availibility of Programs

Find out if your school has a reading teacher or literacy specialist. If so, contact this person to see what is available at your child’s school for children who have difficulties learning to read and write. If there is no reading teacher, contact the principal or school counselor. You might also contact your local school district reading coordinator to find out about other district programs.
