The conference will take place in the Reno/Tahoe area in 2014. This area was made famous by the TV series Bonanza, as the Ponderosa Ranch, home of the Cartwrights' Ranch House, was located in North Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe was also the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics, which took place in Squaw Valley.
The closest airport is the Reno/Tahoe airport, located in the city of Reno, Nevada. Airports within driving distance are also Sacramento, California (approximately 2 hours by car), San Francisco, California (approximately 4 hours by car) and Oakland, California (approximately 3 hours by car).

Reno is located in Washoe Valley in the northwest of the state of Nevada. The area offers excellent outdoor activities, from hiking and biking in the Sierras to water sports on Lake Tahoe. Within a short driving distance are also Virginia City, in the heart of the historic silver mining area, as well as the state capital, Carson City.
