Research Interests

Dr. Clements-Nolle’s research focuses on HIV/AIDS (behavioral risk taking, HIV prevalence and incidence, antiretroviral adherence), suicidal behaviors, substance use, and interpersonal violence among underserved populations such as incarcerated, homeless, and sexual minority youth and adults.

Training and Technical Assistance

Dr. Clements-Nolle is the Epidemiologist for the SAMHSA/CSAP’s Center for the Application of Prevention Technologies’ (CAPT) West Regional Expert Team.  In this capacity, she works with 11 states, 6 pacific jurisdictions, and 6 tribes to provide technical assistance in epidemiology and data-driven decision-making to prevent and reduce substance abuse and associated public health issues.

 

Personal

I enjoy skiing, hiking, and camping in the Sierras with my husband and two sons.
