Department of Computer Science & Engineering

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno offers an integrated course of study covering the theory, implementation, and design of information systems for those seeking the degree of Master of Science in Computer Science. Students are given the opportunity to become involved in many areas of research specialization, including: artificial intelligence, computability, complexity, database systems, fuzzy systems, computer graphics, distributed & parallel systems, imaging & vision, computer networks, machine learning, neural networks, numerical analysis, operating systems, pattern recognition, programming languages, program specification, realtime scheduling, robotics, simulation, and software engineering.
