The School of Community Health Sciences at the University of Nevada, Reno, provides high quality undergraduate and graduate education of current and future public health professionals that will work in health departments and other health related institutions. Faculty and staff members are preparing our students to become leaders capable of identifying and dealing with future public health challenges. During their training, students get involved in research and service activities that directly impact the health of our community today.

Division of Health Sciences
The Division of Health Sciences is all about helping people.
Whether through one-on-one treatment of people with health problems, undertaking medical research, or activities aimed at improving the health and well-being of whole populations, our students, faculty and staff strive to improve the quality of life of the residents of Nevada. Emphasizing a multi-disciplinary approach, the Division of Health Sciences produces highly skilled and compassionate graduates across the spectrum of the health professions, provides competent and comprehensive clinical care, broadens community health awareness and pursues collaborative academic programs and community partnerships.
