The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program is designed to prepare students for the rapidly changing environment of the accounting profession. Students completing the program develop strong technical and accounting skills and are exposed to state-of-the-art tools and techniques in auditing, financial reporting, and taxation. The MAcc program emphasizes the skills needed to succeed in the business community, including teamwork, leadership, and the ability to communicate effectively. The MAcc program is sufficiently flexible to accommodate students with bachelor degrees in any field after they have taken some required undergraduate or graduate courses to enhance their knowledge of business in general and accounting in particular.

The mission of the College of Business is to achieve excellence in our undergraduate and graduate business programs. Our degree programs are designed to prepare students to be successful in both private and public sector organizations throughout the state, region and nation. These organizations will be characterized by high rates of technological change, increasing levels of cultural diversity, and globalization of markets.
