Computer and Information Engineering
Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Computer and information engineers work with both the hardware and software aspects of computing and communications systems design and development. They build prototypes and solve computer problems to enable computer technology to be optimally utilized. The curriculum is based upon the concept that there are four fundamental areas supporting Computer and Information Engineering. These are 1) computer architecture, 2) software engineering, 3) computer networking and communications, and 4) electronic circuits.
