International Affairs
The International Affairs Program draws upon expertise from other colleges and works closely with the University Studies Abroad Consortium to expand student opportunities. The program is intense, espouses a liberal arts perspective on undergraduate education, and prepares the bulk of its graduates for professional schools and professional careers. The International Affairs major provides students with extensive training in analysis, synthesis, writing and speaking in a public setting. Students can choose from a broad range of careers, depending upon interests, specializations within the major, and tools acquired such as language fluency.

College of Liberal Arts
The College of Liberal Arts contains the disciplines of the humanities and social sciences, as well as the School of the Arts and the new School of Social Research and Justice Studies.
A liberal arts education at the University of Nevada, Reno emphasizes inquiry, discovery and openness to new ideas and perspectives. Through intensive study of a major field and broad exposure to other disciplines, liberal arts students develop intellectual curiosity, research skills, eagerness to discuss difficult questions and the ability to define and solve complex problems.
