French

Students majoring in foreign languages and literatures choose a field of concentration in French, Spanish or German. French majors gain advanced speaking, reading, and writing skills in the language, as well as knowledge of French and francophone literature and film. Selected courses are also available in Italian, Japanese, Latin, and Russian, and classical Greek.
