Nutrition
A degree in nutrition provides students with a strong science background, laboratory experiences, and community and clinical opportunities related to human health and nutrition. Two options are available: 1) The nutritional science option prepares students for entry into graduate schools or professional health schools, such as medical, dental and pharmacy schools. 2) The dietetics options prepares students to become registered dietitians, working directly with people or groups of people in schools, hospitals or private practice, for example.
