Biotechnology


The Biotechnology program aims to produce well-trained researchers with theoretical knowledge, technical skills and real-world experience based on both academic research experiences and internships in the biotechnology industry.

This accelerated, five-year degree program gives students both a bachelor’s and master’s degree upon completion. The program’s objective is to meet growing student interest in both career-directed education and biotechnology.

Graduates of this program have numerous career opportunities in pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources (CABNR)

Students in the College of Agriculture, Biotechnology and Natural Resources are passionate about three things: people, animals and the outdoors. A CABNR education prepares our students for professions in these important areas, with academic, research and outreach focus on animal biotechnology, biochemistry and molecular biology, natural resources and environmental science, nutrition and resource economics.
