Animal Science
The Animal Science major is designed to give students a foundation and training in various aspects of the livestock, food and fiber industries. Career choices in animal science are numerous and include: animal production management, feed manufacturing, food processing, research, livestock marketing, rangeland and ranch management, mined-land reclamation and extension work. In addition, one can choose to specialize in Rangeland Livestock Production within the Animal Science major. An Animal Science minor is also available.
