Since 1874

Since 1874, we've been serving Nevada. Since 1874, we've been expanding horizons and imparting new skills. Since 1874, we've been making Nevada a better state to live and work in.

A lot has happened since 1874. Everything from aviation to the internet has been invented and more than 25 U.S. presidents have been in office during that time.

When you see the brick and the ivy, when you see Mackay Statue gazing out over our historic quad, when you study under the same tree that a hundred years of students have studied under...you'll feel it.

This is a University with history.
