Robert E. Dickens, Ph.D. is Director of Governmental Relations for the University of Nevada, Reno. He completed a bachelor's and master's degree at the University of Nevada and a doctorate in Political Science with an emphasis in public lands and natural resource policy from the University of Arizona. He has represented the university in twenty-five regular and special sessions of the Nevada Legislature, managed federal governmental relations since 1986, and been involved with the local government and community organizations on behalf of the university since the mid-1990s. He is also an adjunct Associate Professor of Political Science and teaches courses in administrative politics, intergovernmental relations and American Government.
