Strategic Planning

The strategic planning process of the university is designed to collect the best ideas of faculty, staff, students, and friends about the strategic direction of every facet of the university. The process is designed to make the university stronger and of greater service, consistent with its land-grant mission of teaching, research and outreach. The intent of this process is for the university to become recognized over time as one of the top-tier national flagship universities. The process is also designed to be consistent with the strategic directions of the Nevada System of Higher Education and to prepare for the biennial budget process.
