The project
"MIRRORS
- Monitoring Ideas Regarding Research Organizations and Reasons in
Science" is financed
by the European Commission according to the 7th
Frame Program.
The Work programme topics addressed is:
SiS-2007-1.1.1.1 - Revisiting the challenges of the interaction
between science and politics in the European knowledge-based society.
It is a "Coordination and Support Actions", with a Grant Agreement
Number 217796.
The coordinator of the research is
prof. Francesco Coniglione and the participant
organization is the Dipartimento di Processi Formativi -
University of Catania.

Interests
include: history and philosophy of science; science, technology, and
society; epistemology; philosophy of mind (cognitive aspects).
Current projects
include several papers on methodology of science.
Recent lecture and
conference appearances in London, Cambridge, Ghent, Berkeley, etc., at
the British Society for Philosophy of Science, History of Science
Society, Society for Social Studies of Science, etc. Edited
Thomas Kuhn (Cambridge University Press, 2003).
