February 9, 2010 -- Deborah Achenberg, who is an associate professor of philosophy and chair of the Department of Philosophy, spoke out about university budget cuts at a recent town hall meeting. October 5, 2009 -- Professor Gary Cage, who teaches World Religions for the Department of Philosophy at UNR, was the first speaker of the semester for the Sustainable Energy Forum, an Associated Students of the University of Nevada-recognized student organization.
