Cooperative Extension transmits information to help Nevada residents solve problems and deal with critical issues
As Nevada's outreach college, Cooperative Extension strengthens families, fosters healthy living and working environments and enables communities and people to prosper.
Cooperative Extension has offices in all of Nevada's counties and major urban areas, bringing knowledge and information to all Nevadans. The college has more than 200 personnel and a broad volunteer base that helps to deliver non-degree, educational programs in the areas of agriculture; children, youth and families, community development; health and nutrition; horticulture; natural resources. In addition to volunteers, Cooperative Extension has many federal and county partners and strong collaborative relationships with other groups, agencies, business and individuals.
