Public-private partnerships are the future of higher education. Working together, public universities and private-sector businesses will shape the future of the workforce and drive necessary research and development. Specifically, this is being done at Nevada through new technology licensing and professional advisory boards to colleges.
Alumni Association
Founded in 1967, the Nevada Alumni Association brings together Nevada's more than 50,000 alumni through programs, events, and the alumni magazine.
Give to Nevada
The support of alumni, parents, and friends is crucial to fulfill the university’s mission of excellence in teaching, research and public service. Making a gift to Nevada helps expand these efforts and ensure their availability to future generations.
Arts & Culture
There is a fundamental tie between the university and the local arts and culture scene. Nevada faculty and students partner with local artists to nurture an increasingly flourishing arts community in Northern Nevada. These collaborative efforts include the Reno Jazz Festival, Reno Philharmonic and Chamber Orchestra, Nevada Repertory Company and Nevada Opera.
Cooperative Extension
As a land-grant institution university, Nevada was created to benefit the people of the state. The largest aspect of that mission is carried out by University of Nevada Cooperative Extension which helps residents in all 17 Nevada counties.
