FALL PARKING NEWS:

Welcome back students!  2008-2009 parking permits have been mailed out.  If you paid for a parking permit but do not receive it by August 25th, please contact us.  The West Stadium Parking Complex is still available for purchase at $375 per year or $188 per semester.  The green zones located north of Mackay Stadium is also available for $205 per year. 

Don't bring your car to UNR...... Remember there are lots of OPTIONS when traveling to campus. Please visit our alternate transportation link to find out more.

Monthly special events held on campus:
August Events:

  • August 13th -EDAWN Meeting in the JCSU at 8:00 am. Parking is available on the top level of the West Stadium Parking Complex.
  • August 14th- NCEHP Teleconference in the Pennington Building at 9:00 am.  Parking is available in the green zones behind the Pennington Building.
  • August 14th- Emeriti Faculty Reception in Morrill Hall at 4:30 pm.  Parking is available in the Morrill Hall meters.
  • August 11-15 - Medical School Student Orientation at various times throughout the week.  On Friday Family Day will take place at the Pennington Building at 8:00 am and parking is available in the green zones.  Then at 5:00 pm, the White Coat Ceremony will take place in the Student Union.  Parking for the White Coat Ceremony will be located on levels 4&5 of the Whalen Parking Complex.
  • August 16-17- Reno Blues Festival will take place at Rancho San Rafael.  Parking is available in the north parking lots on the UNR campus.  Please follow the directional signage.
  • August 19th- Davidson Academy Event at the Jot Travis Building at 10:00 am.  Parking for staff and families will be in the Continuing Education meters across Virginia Street.
  • August 20th- Faculty orientation will take place at the Raggio Building at 5:30 pm.  Parking is available in the Whalen Parking Complex.
  • August 21-22- New Student Opening Ceremony will be held in Lawlor Events Center beginning at 9:00 am.  Disabled parking is available on the 1st level of the West Stadium Complex.  General parking is available on any other level of the West Stadium Complex.
