Club Description

Through its presence in the community, the International Club (ICLUB)strives to build strong relationships between domestic and international students. International Club organizes the largest student-run event on campus, Night Of All Nations (NOAN). With performances, food, and community members from over 60 countries, Night of All Nations has grown to be a well-known event in the Reno area, bringing in about 4000 attendees. Through NOAN and other activities and events, the club provides an opportunity for other student organizations, including culturally-based clubs, and community members to build a connection between cultures. In addition, we seek to create a comfortable transition for our international students.

Activity Booth

Origami - Originating in China, where paper was invented, origami was carried over to Japan by buddhist monks where it became very popular.  Origami is the art of paper folding and is featured at Night of All Nations where you can learn how to fold fun basic shapes or animals.

Hemp Beading - Twisted, tied, or braided, have fun making jewelry with hemp twine and beads.

Henna Tattos - Made from the plant Lawsonia Inermis, henna paste is used throughout Northern Africa, the Middle East, and India for temporary tattoos and can last for a few days to a week.  You can purchase a simple design for $1 each.

Sand Painting - This activity is fun and simple, with the use of construction paper, Elmer's glue, and sand, create a colorful design or drawing, and allow it to dry before hanging.

Face Painting - We will have three face painting stations set up at the event, where you can choose from a variety of designs to be painted on your face or hand.

Mosaics - Using tile, shells, colorful glass pieces, and other crafty materials, you can create a small square decorative tile to take home with you.

Community Culture Canvas - The concept of this painting is "Unity." Because Night of All Nations is an event that enables us to learn about and experience cultures from around the world, the community culture canvas will be an opportunity for you to express your own culture on canvas, therefore representing the unity of people and culture at this event.

Mask Making - Make a mask from the many craft supplies we will have available for you to be creative and have fun!
