NWHP Found a Winning Combination
NWHP found a winning combination when Benjamin Victor used noted Nevada historian Dr. Sally Zanjani’s Dr. Sally Zanjani has completed her tenth Nevada history book with historian and researcher Carrie Townley Porter. Carrie has been researching and portraying Helen J. Stewart for over 40 years. NWHP will present the authors and their book, Helen J. Stewart, First Lady of Las Vegas, at a luncheon October 8 at Bartley Ranch in Reno. Copies of the book will be available for sale and autographing. The authors will discuss their research and writing. Helen J. Stewart was among the first women to be inducted into the Nevada Women’s History Project (NWHP) roll of honor. Come learn about this fascinating woman – a woman most definitely not defined by the times in which she lived – when Sally Zanjani, PhD and Carrie Porter present their book.
