Western Shoshone Territory

OREGON-IDAHO-UTAH-NEVADA-CALIFORNIA-ARIZONA

Traditional territory ranged from southern Idaho in the north to Death Valley in the south. The western border started in central Nevada and extended east to Utah. In 1873, there were 2,405 Western Shoshone living in Nevada.
