Newton Network Newsletter (Special Edition)– February 2008
Newton Network News:
NERDS (Nevada Educators Really Doing Science) announced their summer courses and we felt that this information needed to be in your hands immediately. The deadline for registration is 15 March 2008 and only a limited number of positions are available.
Once again, please pass your newsletter on to your colleagues, and let them know that they can sign up for their own newsletter as easily as going to our website (www.unr.edu/newton).
In This Issue:
Regional/Statewide:
NERDS – Standards based summer courses for K12 science educators
NERDS – The summer courses for NERDS will be exciting and a great learning opportunity with an exploration of Oregon Tidepool Ecology and an investigation of the Ecology of the Feather River Watershed.

A flyer that describes both courses is available on our website in either PDF or WORD format.
A letter was sent by Jacque Ewing-Taylor, Program Director, Raggio Research Center, to all schools explaining the funding for tuition and travel expense to attend these courses. Click here for a copy of this letter.
