Letters to the Editor

The editor encourages readers to share their reactions to the magazine’s contents. Letters intended to be considered for publication on the Letters to the Editor page in the print version or at the magazine’s website must include the name and address of the author and a daytime phone number where the writer can be reached for verification. Only letters that comment on material in the most recent issue will be considered for publication, not those reacting to other letters or news. Especially in the case of the print version of the magazine, letters may be edited for space or relevance considerations. A fuller presentation of letters may be found on this website. I understand these rules and wish to submit a letter.

What I’ve Done With My Life

What I’ve Done With My Life, which appears on the last page of the printed magazine, asks an alum who has been out of school for a while to answer these questions:

  • What are you most proud of?
  • What do you regret?
  • What advice would you give to a new college graduate?

If you’d like to try you hand at this exercise in self-assessment for possible publication in the print magazine or at the website, email your submission to the editor. Include a daytime telephone number we can call for verification. Serious, light-hearted something in between -- there is no proper way to approach this task. But the length should not exceed 650 words. The magazine will print one submission per issue. Others may be posted online.
