BalloonSat NBS-08-01

This launched occurred during a snowstorm. About a foot of snow fell during the filling of the balloon. Both communications systems failed during the mission. The payloads were recovered the following day after the satellite GPS system reported their position. A relatively short hike in the snow was required. Half a mile West and we would have ended up on top of a pretty good mountain. Half a mile to the East would have put us in Winnemucca Lake.
