This power supply is used for powering the Kenwood TM-D700.  Ours cost is about $45 online, but costs about $48 in shipping.  So if you get something similar you can probably get it cheaper in town.

You don't need this power supply.  Any variable power supply capable of producing 13.8 VDC at 12 A. will work just fine.
