This is our GPS35 and its battery pack that go in our primary communication payload.  The battery pack is 4 NiMH AA this gives a fully charged voltage of about 5.3V, and about 11 hours of GPS operation. This design is very similar to the one using the GPS25 but it is slightly larger.
  To help improve the visibility of our payloads we decided to spray paint them.  This is a brighter green than it appears in the picture

Be careful though spray paint can melt polystyrene
