Sergiu Dascalu, associate professor of computer science and engineering, was awarded the 2011 F. Donald Tibbitts Distinguished Teaching Award. The award commemorates Dascalu's passion and love for teaching, both of which have made him a highly effective and well loved teacher on campus.
